With FEMALE SPACES Lucie Schulze, Sophia Hegewald and Jana Rodenbusch add the three female perspectives to the spectrum of photographic gazes onto the world. With “becoming men” Schulze deals with the positioning of male individuals in society; in her series “Dirigentinnen”, Hegewald examines traditional gender roles in the classical music world, and with “Gegenüber” Rodenbusch records an emotional inventory of her own encounters with others.
